Delhi based electronica project B.L.O.T. {Basic Love Of Things} comprises of a visual artist and music producer & DJ who founded the TECHNODROME festival with the idea which lies in the crux of their inception : A multidisciplinary project supported by a network of artists focussed on creating atypical clubland experiences.

BLOT has curated the experimental stage at Sunburn Festival in Goa (2010 & 2011) and further afield, have performed at legendary venues like Tresor and Bar25 (Berlin) several times, as well as at Geneva’ s Electron Festival (2011), Berlin Music Week (2010), Champagnerama in Berlin (2010), London’s South Bank Centre (2010) and at Nuits Sonores in Lyon (2009).

For the TECHNODROME 2012, BLOT brings forth The Matador Project along with India’s own futuristic EDM artist Kohra for one night only at Kitty Su New Delhi on Friday – 23 November 2012.
The Matador Project was set up in December 2006 by Producer/Engineer/DJ Gavin Lynch. Creating the Matador Sounds preferably in the early hours (read: night) of the day. These early productions often went back and forth as they were road tested at various DJ residencies in Dublin, ‘515@Tripod’, ‘Acii Disco’, & the infamous ‘Mixed Salad’ parties. From the early success of his remix of ‘Perc – Work Softer’ which gained the support from top industry leaders, Gavin has gone on to a string of Releases & Remixes on some high end prints including; Trapez, Cocoon, 1605, Rekluse, Harthouse.

Young promising star Kohra paved the way for a new sub-culture of underground dance music and became the first Indian to have hit the top 10 charts on global industry standards such as Beatport. As a producer his music has been signed to many well respected international record labels including Sounds Of Earth, Trident Music, Wide Angle Recordings and Echoes Records to name a few. As a DJ, his sets are extremely captivating and reflect a distinct progressive, organic and streamlined approach to techno. He maintains that not only through his high standards of track selection but also with the release schedule of his own quality imprint of Qilla Records.

Do not miss this special event which will amalgamate the best of these three acts in one unified performance.
